The three brothers were born in West Carthage, New York and attended Carthage Senior High School–in the northern part of the state and 40 miles south of the Canadian border–and each was a high school All-American. Casey is the oldest and was born on February 18, 1976. He attended Syracuse University, where he was a four-time All-American and two-time winner of the Lt. Raymond Enners Award as most outstanding player in Division I lacrosse. He started at Syracuse as a midfielder and won the McLaughlin Award as National Midfielder of the Year in his sophomore year. He moved to attack before his junior season and won the Jack Turnbull Award as the National Attackman of the Year, making him the only player in NCAA history to be named All-American and National Player of the Year at two different positions. He helped the Orangemen win the 1995 NCAA title and was the first overall selection in the 1998 National Lacrosse League Draft. “CP” plays professionally in both the MLL [Outdoor] and NLL [Indoor] lacrosse leagues and was named to Lacrosse magazine’s All-Century Team. In 2014 he was named the number one indoor/outdoor American lacrosse player by LacrosseAllStars.com.

Ryan was born on February 23, 1978 and did not begin playing organized lacrosse until seventh grade. He played quarterback on the Carthage Senior High School football team as well as lacrosse and followed Casey to Syracuse University, where he was a four-time All-American as an attackman. He won the Lt. Raymond Enners Award and Jack Turnbull Award in 2000 and helped Syracuse beat Princeton for the NCAA title his senior year. He is the 5th all-time leading scorer in New York state high school history and tied for 2nd as Syracuse’s all-time leading scorer. “Rhino” was the #2 overall selection in the 2000 NLL Draft and is that league’s only two-time MVP. He served as captain of the U.S. Men’s gold medal-winning team in the 2010 World Lacrosse championships and coached Syracuse to an NCAA title in 2004.

Michael was born on October 29, 1982 and set New York state high school records for most points in a season [194], most points in a game [15] and most assists in a season [120] in 2000. He followed his brothers to Syracuse in the fall of 2000 as one of the most coveted recruits in college lacrosse history. As a freshman, he led the Orangemen to the NCAA title game against Princeton and forced overtime with an unassisted goal with just 16 seconds remaining. Syracuse lost but the 5’11” attackman was named All-American, won the Jack Trumball Award and was a finalist for the inaugural Tewaaraton Trophy, college lacrosse’s equivalent of the Heisman Trophy. He led SU to the national championship the following year, was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player and won the Tewaaraton Trophy. As a junior, he helped Syracuse reach their 23rd consecutive Final Four before falling to Johns Hopkins. The Orange won their ninth NCAA championship in his senior season while surpassing the record shared by his two older brothers to become the school’s all-time leading scorer with 307 points, tying him for 4th place in NCAA history. He was named All-American for the fourth straight year, won his second Tewaaraton Trophy and earned his first Enners Award. Michael helped the Baltimore Bayhawks win the 2005 MLL championship and was named MVP of that year’s All-Star game.
